“I heard she was in Singapore…” – How to keep track of me.

“Great,” I can hear you thinking. No, not you, smartass… the one behind you who only reads LiveJournal and doesn’t have the foggiest what to do with a blog. “You’ve marooned me here, and now I’ll have to actually bookmark your site, and then I’ll probably forget to check it, and…”

No worries, friends. If you’re on LiveJournal and have a paid account, you can subscribe to my RSS feed, by putting my url “http://overtheedge.wordpress.com” in the little boxy thingie on your Manage Friends page.

If, on the other hand, you’re like me and prefer to get all your interesting articles, blogs, columns, new, and lolcats through Bloglines or GoogleReader: congratulations, welcome to Web 2.0. :D

I cannot, of course, read comments left on an LJ syndicated feed…you have to come here if you want to talk to me. Why do it this way? Because I’m a sadistic author. Yes, I am.

I don’t know if you get email from this or not. I very much hope you do. I wanted to leave you a review that was for more than any single piece of your writing that I’ve read. You are, without a doubt, one of the most talented writers I have ever had the pleasure of reading. I don’t mean just fanfic, but ANY writing…and I have read a LOT. Shakespeare, C. S. Lewis, Homer, Austin, Heinlein, CJ Cherryh…thousands of books rustle their pages in my head.
Your work is lyrical, stunningly evocative and perfectly edited. If I saw your name on the spine of a book in a store, I would buy it in a heartbeat, knowing it would be good without ever reading the blurb on the back. (Yes, I don’t know your real name, but …) You capture the characters of Buffy, Jareth, Spike, Elizabeth, Sarah and the others precisely, and craft new stories for them that ring true to the worlds they were originally created for, and yet are so much better (at least in the BTVS world) than they were ever allowed to be.
SO, thank you for sharing your talent with us. I look forward to any tale you may choose to tell.
